Om Mani Padme Hum: A Practical Guide
Empowering Your Life & Projects with Sacred Sound
For over 20 years I’ve practiced Om Mani Padme Hum—often with the recordings from Master Choa Kok Sui. In my experience, and in Master Choa’s teachings, chanting this mantra purifies the chakras and the aura, invites blessings, and helps generate “prosperity karma.” Many traditions call it the “wish-fulfilling jewel” because sincere practice is believed to cultivate good karma that supports your goals and service.
What Is Om Mani Padme Hum?
A sacred compassion mantra associated with Avalokiteshvara (known as Kuan Yin in other traditions). In Pranic Healing, chanting with devotion invites down-pouring spiritual energy that flows through the crown and radiates through the chakras, cleansing impurities and blessing the environment. Practitioners often report a calmer mind and a lighter aura after even a few repetitions.
How to Practice (A Simple, Effective Method)
- Prepare & Invoke: Sit comfortably and silently invoke for divine guidance and protection.
- Set a Clear Intention: For example, “May my physical body be cleansed and energized,” or “May this project be blessed for the good of all.”
- Chant Mindfully: Repeat Om Mani Padme Hum with gentle focus on your heart and crown. Chant 7–9 times for a quick session, or 108 times for a deep cleanse.
- Direct the Energy: As you chant, place your awareness on the person, place, or project you are blessing.
- Close with Gratitude: Offer thanks and a short blessing to loved ones and to all beings.
